CRUZIVAX 3rd SAB meeting
On February 18th, 2025, the project conducted its third SAB meeting virtually. The recent results of the project partners were presented, followed by a question & answer session with the SAB members. The SAB members provided their input to the progress.
M2 LIVE & CRUZIVAX workshop
From November 25th-27th, 2024, the project partner CEA organized a 3-day in-person workshop to teach young scientists about preclinical studies and immune monitoring in animal models through courses and round tables. The workshop was a valuable opportunity to foster collaboration and exchange views on the future of vaccine research.
CRUZIVAX 4th consortium meeting
The project conducted its fourth consortium meeting from June 4th-5th, 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany. All partners were able to attend and present and discuss their most recent results, as well as further plans.
Cesar Milstein Prize awarded to Emilio Malchiodi
In September 2023, Emilio Malchiodi and his University of Buenos Aires group received the Cesar Milstein Prize for Research in Biotechnology with Impact in Health. This prize was awarded by the Pablo Cassará Foundation and Argentina National Research Council (CONICET) for the Project CRUZIVAX - Development of a prophylactic and therapeutic vaccine against Chagas disease based on the chimeric antigen Traspain and the adjuvant cyclic-di-AMP.
CRUZIVAX 2nd SAB meeting
On December 7th, 2022, the project conducted its second SAB meeting virtually. The recent results of the project partners were presented, followed by a question & answer session with the SAB members. The SAB members provided input and recommendations.
CRUZIVAX 3rd consortium meeting
The project conducted its third consortium meeting on June 13th, 2022. Because of the COVID pandemics, it was necessary to conduct it virtually.
CRUZIVAX Zenodo Community
On March 27th, 2021 the project established a Zenodo Community for providing open access to the project's results.

The project conducted its second consortium meeting on March 3rd, 2021. It was also attended by the project's Scientific Advisory Board. Because of the COVID pandemics, it was necessary to conduct it virtually.
CRUZIVAX kick-off meeting
The consortium conducted its kick-off meeting June 26th-27th, 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany. Along with the partners getting to know each other better, the agenda included an overview of Chagas disease and presentations and discussion of the work to be conducted during the first 18 months.
